Sankofa Vision, Inc. is the brainchild of Ms. Leia

cultural arts worker, organizer, emerging artist, and
mother with more than a decade of professional
experience in the nonprofit sector. She has managed
resources, raised funds, coordinated programs,
and organized events for arts and educational
organizations of all sizes.
As the entrusted visionary for Sankofa Vision, Inc.,
Ms. Lewis prays and applies the knowledge and
wisdom of her family, education, professional
experience, and unfolding life's journey. She gratefully
acknowledges the guidance and support of her
teachers, mentors, friends, and colleagues over
the years.

Louisiana and beyond. The organization's leadership
includes parents, professionals, and retirees in the
arts, education, social work, business, agriculture,
community activism, skilled trades, religion, and more.
